Appliqe style flags are the strongest flags with the longest life expectancy. They're made using high quality nylon flag materials coated with a UV protection. The threads used in these flags are mildew resistant. Applique involves layering flag materials and then cutting away excess to reveal the finished design. Printed flags involve penetrating a thinner nylon material with ink. This is all done using a computerized process. The proper way to dye flags is to wash them after they get printed and then dried to set the ink into the material. These flags are made of a lower quality material, but come at a much better price than sewn/applique style flag, especially if ordering in bulk. The more printed flags you buy, the more you save.
