Back by popular demand, Joe Stoll has opened a brand new flag shop. With more than 23 years of experience under his belt, more than any other local flag store owner, Joe first began selling American flags following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001 for the late Howard Pinkley and his daughter Wendy Beallas.
Since then, Joe has learned how to design flags and even sew them himself, a process not many can do. In addition, Joe has installed countless flagpoles over the years. The most rewarding ones he said has been for Veterans or those family members of active duty personnel.
In 2014, Joe opened his first flag store in Toledo, but sold it seven years later when the owner of the building he was leasing had to abruptly make room for a dollar store chain, giving Joe just weeks to pack up shop.
Since that time, Joe has been serving the residents of Lucas County as a 911 call taker and dispatcher. He was able to open his new flag shop in Point Place on May 2, 2024, right next door to where so many were accustomed to seeing him.
Joe enjoys sharing the love of the American flag and patriotism with his family, including his wife Jordan, and their sons Emmett and Landon.
